Bioremediation

Bioremediation is a procedure used to deal with infected media, which includes water, soil, and subsurface material, through changing environmental situations to stimulate the increase of microorganisms that degrade the goal pollutants. Most bioremediation is inadvertent, and related to local organisms. Bioremediation makes use of microorganisms to degrade organic contaminants in soil, groundwater, sludge, and solids.
